Here at ITHONSI GUESTHOUSE, we pride ourselves on providing a clean and comfortable space for our guests. Refresh and relax, in close proximity to
OR Tambo international airport, in between your travels.
Our COVID-19Response
The following measures are in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections and keep our guests safe:
- It is compulsory to wear masks – No mask, no entry.
- All visitors are required to complete a compulsory COVID-19 screening questionnaire on arrival.
- Guests temperature will be taken and indicated on a register that must be completed along with visitors’ details.
- Should the thermometer indicate a high temperature, the guests will be referred to the nearby hospital for a check-up.
- Social distancing must be maintained at all times.
- Hand soap and sanitizers have strategically been made accessible in our rooms and common areas for our visitors to use conveniently.

Outdoor area
We have conveniently placed some outdoor seating for guests to enjoy our garden.
Guests are also welcome to make use of the grill. Please extinguish your fire should you use it.
Living Area
Guests are welcome to make use of the living area which includes a tv lounge and a boardroom table which serves a function for dining and as a workspace.
Because this is a common area, please keep it tidy at all times.
Kitchen
Since Ithonsi Guesthouse and Spa is a self-catering establishment; we have fully equipped the kitchen for guests who wish to make their own meals.
Parking
Guests are welcome to park on the property free of charge. Please ask our caretaker to direct you to where to park upon check-in.
Laundry Services
We offer a full washing, tumble drying and ironing service.
To utilize the laundry service please make use of the laundry bag in your room and ensure you place your bag on the chair in your room with a notice of which service you are opting for.
Should you simply wish to iron your clothing, you are welcome to use the iron and ironing board in the kitchen, free of charge. Please place these items where you found them.

For your convenience, we have placed some refreshments in the mini bar fridge in your

Any items consumed will be charged to your room to be settled before checking out.

Because Wi-Fi is essential for many travellers, our Wi-Fi is complimentary.
Wi-Fi details are conveniently framed in our rooms as well as in the lounging area for you to communicate easily and enjoy the entertainment equipped in the televisions.
Entertainment
Each of our rooms is equipped with smart tv’s so our guests can stream their favourite
shows from ShowMax, Netflix and YouTube or search for the entertainment of your choosing on Google. Please contact our caretaker or
management should you not have a personal subscription to sign into, and/or need any help signing in.
We have also placed a few board games in the lounge area for guests who wish to entertain themselves in the lounge area.
Cleaning times
Rooms are cleaned daily between 10:30 am and 14:30 pm.
